Who we are
This website is operated by Barnet Evobuild Ltd (company number 15277018), trading as EvoBuild Ltd. Our registered office is 52 Grove Road, Cockfosters, Barnet, EN4 9DF.
For the purpose of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Barnet Evobuild Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
If you have any questions about this notice or how we handle your data, email hello@barnetsprestige.co.uk or call 07903 494 723.
What we collect
We only collect the personal data we need to respond to enquiries and carry out work for our customers.
- Enquiries. When you contact us through the website form, WhatsApp, phone or email, we collect your name, phone number, email address and anything you choose to tell us about the work (site address, photos, measurements, timelines).
- Customer records. If we quote for or complete a job for you, we also keep the quote, invoice, job notes and any correspondence.
- Website usage. Our hosting and font providers automatically receive your IP address and basic request data (browser, device, page requested). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this site.
We do not collect special category data (health, ethnicity, etc.), and we do not ask for payment card details on the website.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
- plan, carry out and invoice for any work you ask us to do;
- keep records for tax, insurance and warranty purposes;
- defend or bring legal claims if a dispute ever arises.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract (when we are quoting for or carrying out work), legitimate interests (to reply to enquiries and run our business), and legal obligation (to keep records required by HMRC and insurers).
We do not send marketing emails, and we will never sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
Who sees your data
Your personal data stays within our business except where we use trusted service providers to help us run the site or deliver work:
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts the website. Your IP address is processed briefly to serve pages.
- Formspree — handles submissions from the contact form and forwards them to our inbox. Form data passes through Formspree's servers.
- Google Fonts — serves the website's typefaces. Google receives your IP address when fonts are loaded, but no cookies are set.
- Our accountant, insurers and (where relevant) sub-contractors — only the minimum information they need to do their job.
- HMRC, the Information Commissioner's Office, or courts — if we are legally required to disclose information.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, they are covered by UK-approved transfer mechanisms (such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) so your data stays protected to UK standards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become jobs: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Completed job records, quotes and invoices: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, to meet HMRC and statutory limitation requirements.
- Correspondence relating to warranty or disputes: for as long as the warranty runs, plus 6 years.
Cookies & tracking
This website does not set any cookies of its own. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers or similar technologies.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address on the Google side when the fonts are requested. No cookies are set by that request.
If we add analytics or similar tracking in the future, we will update this page and — where the law requires it — ask for your consent through a cookie banner first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your data;
- object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests;
- ask us to transfer your data to another service, where technically possible.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@barnetsprestige.co.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Security
We keep personal data on password-protected devices and in reputable cloud services. Paper records — such as signed quotes — are stored securely and shredded when no longer needed. We review these arrangements regularly and act quickly if we are ever aware of a data breach.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office:
